Electromin Expands EV Infrastructure in India
Petromin Corporation is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking strategic partnership forged with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), formalized during the historic G20 summit of 2023. This visionary alliance encompasses three key domains: Fuel Stations, EV Charging Infrastructure, and Petromin Express service centers poised to usher in a wave of new job opportunities, attract substantial investments, and promote the seamless transfer of cutting-edge technology between Saudi Arabia and India.
This dynamic collaboration sets the stage for the realization of three ambitious ventures:
- The establishment and operation of an expansive network of up to 500 fuel stations spanning the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Middle East, and Africa.
- The deployment and management of an extensive array of up to 5,000 charging stations, strategically located primarily at HPCL retail outlets. These stations will offer a versatile blend of high-speed DC chargers and steady AC chargers.
- The introduction of up to 1,000 co-branded Vehicle Service Centers across India.
The recent state visit of our esteemed Crown Prince and Prime Minister, HRH Mohammad Bin Salman, during the G20 summit, under the Indian Presidency, has fortified bilateral ties and unlocked a wealth of exciting opportunities for collaboration between our two great nations.
At the India Saudi Investment summit, our visionary GCEO, Kalyana Sivagnanam, had the privilege of addressing a distinguished assembly of officials and business leaders. During his speech, he underscored the remarkable strides Electromin is making in the realm of energy and sustainability.
We wish to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Ministry of Investment Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry for their invaluable support in bringing this transformative partnership to fruition. Together, we are poised to shape the future of the energy landscape and drive innovation on a global scale.
